Quick, easy, and with minimal fuss this is the quickest and easiest way to cook bacon!
TIP: Please note that some air fryer models may smoke a lot when bacon is cooked due to the grease. To mitigate this you can turn the temperature down a bit more when cooking which may help. You can add a slice of bread under the basket (where the grease collects) to absorb the excess fat. Some people have had success adding a little water to the basket where the grease collects instead.
Lay the bacon in strips into the basket of your air fryer in one single layer, do not double up the layers. You may need to cut some of the bacon slices to make it fit. If you overlap those pieces they will not be as cooked as the others.
Heat your air fryer to 350°F and close the drawer (with the bacon!)
Check the bacon after about 4 minutes for thin cut bacon, and at 6 minutes for thick cut to see if it's done, it will probably take 3-5 minutes more but not all air fryer models are the same.
If you want to cook more than one batch of bacon you will need to empty the grease from the basket after every batch to prevent it from smoking.
Once the bacon is cooked remove and place on a plate with paper towels to absorb any excess grease.
Air Fryer Models - If you're looking to buy an Air Fryer then be sure to check the capacity of the basket first, the smaller models will only cook enough food for about two people at a time. In general the toaster oven style air fryers have a much larger capacity but they are usually more expensive.
